Condition

The sheet appears fully laid down to an old backing support, itself adhered to a cream backing card via two hinge strips at the top edge. There is minor surface dirt and signs of light staining to the sheet, particularly to the curtains on the right, but most of which is not visible in the present frame, with a couple of further very light possible signs of foxing apparent to the sheet. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition, with strong, fresh colours throughout. Housed behind glass in a thin white wooden frame, set within a cream card mount. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
