Condition

The sheet is partially adhered along the top edge to an un-lined backing card. The sheet appears to be a leaf taken from a sketch book, with an unevenly cut left hand edge. There is time staining to the sheet, with further traces of very light handling marks and studio detritus, and a tiny, minor area of possible loss to the top left extreme edge, in line with the removal from the sketch book. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition, with strong, fresh passages of pencil throughout. Housed behind glass in a thin, black wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
