Catalogue Note

This bonsai has been the recipient of the Gold Medal at the Nanjing Bonsai Exhibition. This tree is planted into a natural stone basin, forming a flower basket with the curved main trunk. The tree’s main body is also naturally forming and has fused into one with the stone.

The Sageretia is one of the five main trees used in the works of the Lingnan School and is easy to cultivate. It should be planted in a location with shade and monitored for adequate moisture levels.
