Ilex cornuta (Chinese Holly)

bidding is closed

Description

  •  circa 1990
  • 19.7 x 24.1 cm., 7 ¾ x 9 ½ in.

Catalogue Note

Clinging-to-a-rock (Ishisuki) style. The Chinese Holly is not a popular bonsai tree, so they are rare and difficult to find. The emerald green, hexagonal leaves are charming and perfectly suited for small-sized bonsai.

The Chinese Holly is best suited for full sun, and as with any small-sized plant, it must be kept adequately moist.
