Condition
This work is in good condition overall considering its age. The paint layer is stable and healthy overall; the canvas is well-stretched and still on the original stretcher. The three-dimensional structure of the canvas is stable. Soiling and handling marks are present along the extreme edges of the canvas. Faint stretcher bar marks are visible along the bottom and top edges. Three small dents to the canvas, measuring approximately half-an-inch in diameter, are present (one dent is present in the upper right quadrant; two dents are present in the lower right quadrant). Under ultraviolet inspection, fluorescing occurs overall due to the nature of the medium selected and used by the artist.
