Condition

There is a varnish visible overall. Craquelure is present throughout and is particularly noticeable throughout the sky. The paint layer is stable overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. Under ultraviolet inspection, a varnish (potentially a masking varnish) is also apparent. A one-inch rectangle of in-painting is present directly above the center of the bottom edge. A one-quarter-of-an-inch border of fluorescing becomes apparent along all edges of the canvas.
