Condition
This work is in very good condition. The thin linen on which it is painted has been reinforced along the
edges. The surface is very slightly uneven. The paint layer and its fine details are all very well preserved. The retouches have been carefully applied, and almost all of them can be found under ultraviolet light examination in the white clouds that surround the five decorative elements. The restoration is good and the painting looks well. The work should be hung as is. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
