Description

  • bronze
finely cast with a pear-shaped body rising from a short splayed foot to a waisted neck and everted rim, the exterior inlaid in silver with a band enclosing a pair of taotie masks bordering the neck, the body with a broader band similarly, the surface patinated to a warm chocolate-brown colour mottled with black inclusions

Condition

there is a 1cm chip to the foot. Tiny nicks to the mouth. Other general surface wear.
