Each circular, the dome with a foliate bud finial, the cast border with Vitruvian scrolls and foliage on a matted ground, engraved with an Earl's coat-of-arms. The dish covers were made for the silver dinner service of Simon, 1st Earl of Harcourt (1714-1777), a British Diplomat.
