On triangular base standing on lion paw feet .The main stem a Corinthian column with acanthus leaves surrounded by the three graces. The branches are modelled as flowering lilies and the base bearing the engraved coat-of-arms and crest for Charles John Lawson Esq.
With presentation inscription ‘To Charles John Lawson Esq. The Late Clerk of the Peace for The County of Surrey by a Large Body of the Magistrates as a token of his Remembrance for his Long, Faithful and Valuable Services during a Period of more than Forty-Five years January 1838’
