Oil on canvas, lined. There is a 5 inch indentation in the water below the front sail of the ship. Stretcher bar marks visible at all four edges. Textured surface; inpainting visible to the naked eye at the right of ship second from the left. Under UV light, there is inpainting along the left edge, throughout the water and around the British flag at center. There is additional inpaiting to address the stretcher bar marks and strengthening throughout the clouds.
