Condition
Very good overall original condition. The crystal vases are original with hand-carved ring details that are slightly irregular consistent with the production technique. Each vase presents with a few minute shallow surface scratches and some scattered very minute inherent air bubbles and particle inclusions. The interior of the vases with scattered light surface dirt from gentle use. The metal surfaces with minor traces of light wear and oxidation throughout, consistent with age and gentle use, as seen in the catalogue illustration. The metal elements with minor surface discoloration and surface dirt to the recessed portions of the design and with minor evidence of polish residue adjacent to the copper fastener covers. These vases with a strong architectonic form and highly sculptural presence when viewed in person. A very rare work to appear on the auction market.
