Very good overall condition, consistent with age. The body of the bird is comprised of hundreds of earthenware beads that show minor irregularities in surface and coloration, inherent to the making. Minor surface dirt to the recessed parts of the design. The metal surfaces throughout present with oxidization, wear and minor rubbing to the patina, as visible on catalogue illustration. The condition of the metal consistent throughout the entire sculpture. The interior with seven earthenware clock representations, as seen on the catalogue illustration. An incredibly detailed sculpture with wonderful scale and an intricate color palette. An outstanding sculpture by the artist.
