Condition

Very good overall condition. The surface leather of the desk is in very good original condition, with some minor surface scratches and some marks from use, consistent with age and gentle use. The top presents with two embossed decorative lines parallel to each side of the desk, visible in the catalogue illustration. The lacquered surfaces have been relacquered and present with some light scratches, minor irregularities and minute abrasions consistent with age and normal use. The patinated metal of the desk with some light scratches consistent with age and gentle use and light surface soiling consistent with the ageing of the material. The chair is in very good overall condition. Some surface dirt to the recessed areas. Most of the surface leather of the chair has likely been replaced, with some minor traces of use and light scratches, consistent with age and gentle use, some of them concentrated to the right armrest. The metal presents with some light surface scratches and oxidation, consistent with age and gentle use. A very elegant pairing with beautiful combination of materials.
