Condition

Overall very good condition. The leather seats can be removed from the base, consistent with the design. The wood presents with beautiful figuring that emphasizes the structure of the stools. The wooden surfaces with minor scratches, abrasions, minor dents and superficial dirt, consistent with age and gentle use. A few minor isolated discolorations the wood and a few scattered minor surface stains to the leather, consistent with age and gentle use. One of the upper edges with a minor loss to the veneer adjacent to the proper right corner, measuring approximately 2x 3/8 inches, only visible upon close inspection. The lower long edges of each stool with some minor losses to the veneer along the edge, consistent with age and gentle use. Each stool with very minor seam separation between the joints, consistent with age and which does not affect the solidity of the structure. Each stool with a chromium-plated metal foot to the underbase of each leg. The leather seats have been replaced in a manner and material consistent with the original design and presents with some minor scratches, surface staining, light discoloration and traces of wear. The wood has retained a wonderful patina, which heightens the elegant and iconic design of the stools.
