comprising: two sunflower-molded platters, a rabbit-molded platter, a 'cauliflower' platter, a 'fish head' platter and a 'raddish' platter. Together with two Continental miniature 'fruit' plates, two peapods, two figures of caterpillars and a Chinese export porcelain miniature dish applied with vegetables. 13 pieces.
Condition
Please note: This lot includes seven pottery or porcelain peapods, rather than five as listed in the cataloguing.
Platters: the smaller sunflower platter has a very minor pinhead chip to the underside of the rim edge; the radish platter has a minor short firing crack across one of the bunches; otherwise, all are in generally good condition.
Chinese dish: generally good condition.
Caterpillars: generally good condition apart from several minor tiny flakes to the black enamel.
Fruit plates: both are broken and restored.
Peapods: the stem of one has broken off and there is a tiny chip to one leaf; one has a tiny minor chip to the edge of the pod; two have a small minor chip to the tip of a leaf; one has a minor short firing-related haircrack at one end; the remainder are in general good condition.
