Condition

Good overall condition. The background color in the image is beige and not off-white as seen in the illustration. The color tones of the circular mote are gray brown and not black and white as seen in the illustration. There is a pronounced vertical crease line running down the center of the painting and down the middle right half, both slightly visible in the catalog illustration. There are three vertical crease lines running down the painting - through the center and the middle half of both sides, where the cloth has been folded. The painting has been stretched and laid down on a cloth backing, not seen in the catalog illustration. There are slight stains throughout, consisten with age.
