Condition

Very good overall condition. Slight loss and wear to edges of folio borders, clearly visible in catalog illustration. Slight losses to pigments on the silver border of Shrinathji's skirt. Silver pigments in the painting have become oxidized. This lot is exhibited in a temporary frame.

The painting depicts Shrinathji under a full moon and starry night sky being worshipped at his shrine during Sarat Purnima, the festival of the full moon, flanked by a Goswami performing the arati and a priest holding a morchhala in an effort to protect the lord from the evil eye.
