Condition

Water staining to folio borders visible in the catalog illustration. Tiny areas of loss to pigment on green ground adjacent to the Raja's chest and to the dark green jama on the attendant above his waist band both clearly visible in the catalog illustration. Light vertical stains consistent with age on the upper ground clearly visible in the catalog illustration. The orange pigments in the painting are lighter and brighter than in the catalog illustration. There is a label affixed to the verso, image provided. This lot is exhibited in a temporary frame.
