Condition
Pencil on paper, double sided. Paper is affixed by tape at top and bottom to the mat, edges of sheet are uneven. Recto: Surface in generally good condition, aside from some minor light stain and surface dirt with a few very faint fox spots. Verso: The same as recto, with also glue stains at top edge, a small tear top edge and some well repaired tears bottom edge.

Catalogue Note
In a letter dated May 20, 1981, François Daulte comments that the present drawing was completed during the artist's final years in Moret-sur-Loing, and that it will be included in the forthcoming second volume of his Sisley catalogue raisoneé.
