Condition
The canvas has a thin glue lining. There are two small vertical repaired tears along the lower edge beneath the right-hand boat which are slightly raised. Under UV light: there is a thick varnish which is very difficult to read through although there appear to be broad strokes of retouching in the sky, the landscape and the water. This work is in overall stable condition.
