Condition

Canvas is lined. The edges are reinforced with tape. The colors are bright and fresh, and the richly textured impasto is well preserved. A few spots of vertical hairline craquelure principally visible on the left of the rock, near the center of the composition. Under UV light two thin ½ inch lines of inpainting are visible in the sky near the center. Another small area is visible on the right edge in the sky, and a further extremely thin line on the extreme left edge likely to address prior frame abrasion. Otherwise fine. This work is in very good condition.
