Condition

Oil on wove paper, laid down on card and floating in the mount. There is a tiny paper loss to the lower left edge and the lower left corner is slightly folded. There is a small glue residue to the upper right corner due to the laying down process. Otherwise this work is in good condition. Original owner’s frame. A shell has been lost from the lower left corner and there is a small loss to the upper edge of a shell to the upper right and to a shell at the centre left of the frame. There is wear to the gilt in areas and to all edges of the frame. There are a few further scattered and minor losses.
