Condition

The canvas has not been lined. The surface is nicely textured, and the colors appear fresh. Under UV light: certain pigments flouresce but a layer of varnish is difficult to read through. There are a few small spots of inpainting towards the bottom of the composition, specifically near the water and the bridge. These include a one-inch horizontal repair toward the bottom right corner, two nail-head sized repairs toward the lower left corner and a couple minor spots along the extreme bottom edge. The work is in overall very good condition.
