Condition
The canvas has been strip lined. There are some surface scratches, some of which may relate to the artist's technique, concentrated in the center right of the work. UV examination reveals some intermittent spots of retouching within these scratches, and two further spots of retouching above the lines. There is some scattered staining in places. Otherwise, his work is in overall good condition.
