Condition
Oil on cradled panel, the panel is sound and there do not appear to be signs of retouching visible under UV light. There is a very fine split in the panel with some associated paint loss to the upper left corner. There is a fine line of stable craquelure towards the lower part of the right edge and there are some very minor lines of paint shrinkage to some of the thicker pigments. There are two possible minor spots of paint loss to the blue pigment towards the centre of the left edge. The texture is thick and worked and this work is in otherwise very good condition.
