Condition
The canvas is lined, although the surface of the work retains a rich and textured impasto. There is one small pin dot nick to the surface at the upper right corner. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no evidence of retouching, however, as confirmed in the letter from the Wildenstein Institute, the work at one point featured additional floral elements in the lower corners and the upper left corner which have since been altered. This most likely took place at some point in the early twentieth century. This excepting, the work is in very good condition.
