Condition
The canvas is lined and UV examination reveals some retouching, associated to frame rubbing, on the left and right edges. There is a 1cm-large area of retouching towards the centre of the upper edge, a few spots to the right part of the upper edge, and a minor spot towards the lower left edge. There is some scattered craquelure throughout, which has been stabilised, and with associated thin lines of retouching in places. There are some areas of fluorescence under UV mainly towards the left most figure which do not appear to be consistent with retouchings. There is a spot of paint loss towards the right side of the upper edge. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
