Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, and glued to the mount in two places along the upper edge. The sheet is slightly time stained and there is some mount staining visible at the left and lower edges. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.

Clarissa Rose, the sitter of this work was an Australian cancan dancer whose stage name was Saharet, and who performed in a number of Broadway musicals and vaudeville houses. She was the muse for Franz von Stuck and Franz von Lenbach.
