Condition

Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down and t-hinged to the window mount at the upper two corners. There are some light creases to the sheet, the most prominent of which is a horizontal crease running across the forehead of the sitter. There are a few light incisions which are visible on the upper centre of the verso and a small indentation to the centre of the upper edge. There is some light studio dirt in places. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Kopf- und Figurenstudien (Studies of heads and figures in costumes) - recto There is some light studio dirt and some very faint stains in places. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there are traces of previous hinges at the upper left and lower corners. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition.
