Manual winding movement running, tourbillon and power reserve functions in working order while cataloguing, however the watch has not been tested for accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at buyer's expense. Dial is nice and clean. Case with very little sign of wearing and buckle with minor loss of pvd-coating. Overall appears in very good condition.

The new Giga Tourbillon developed by Franck Muller is an extraordinary timepiece which required expertise, creativity and vision of the research and development team to carry out such daring design.  As the name implies, it features an oversized tonneau-form case and the largest diameter tourbillon (20 mm) that fills half the watch which made a statement to both collectors and the watch industry that Franck Muller is the ultimate innovator in the horological field. 

Moving from the practical function of defying gravity to being a symbol of prestige and wealth, wearing a watch with tourbillon function has become an icon of status. What speaks louder than wearing a largest tourbillon on the wrist?  The mechanism is powered by 4 barrels due to the massive size of tourbillon.  Each with a 16 mm diameter, the barrels are first paired in series and then assembled parallel to one another so that the power of the movement is doubled, enable the Giga Tourbillon to operate in almost constant force.

The skeletonized dial is also constructed with a fascinating look as a ‘surprised face’.  The two large mainspring barrels are like the eyes (with synthetic ruby jewels as the pupils), while the tourbillon is like a mouth agape.
