• gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond endstone • signed gilt cap • gold champlevé dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes, blued steel beetle and poker hands • inner case with pierced and engraved band, strike silent lever to the band, outer case with cartouches depicting pastoral scenes, pierced, chased and engraved decoration • dial signed, movement signed Geo. Graham, London, 525, case hallmarked London 1724, case maker's mark WS

Condition

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of its time keeping and therefore a service should be carried out in the near future at the buyer's expense. The movement will run at the time of cataloguing, however it stops after a short time and will require a service. The strike mechanism is working however it does not strike the correct time. Dial with some scratches and areas of black lacking to the numerals. Both cases worn and with scuffs throughout. Numbered under the bell and hallmarked, numbered to the case below the stem, outer case hallmarked and with the maker's mark WS.
