• gilt full plate engraved movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond endstone, striking on bell • white enamel dial, Turkish numerals • the inner case finely decorated with polychrome enamel with floral motif, pierced band, bordered by opaque periwinkle blue enamel punctuated by a motif of rosettes, the outer case centred by a medallion of polychrome enamel depicting a costal scene inhabited by ships against a bright translucent enamel sunrise engraved ground, the band with ovals decorated with turquoise, red, white and pink enamel, wavy translucent red enamel interior bezels • dial signed, movement signed Prior, London, N 28925, case hallmarked London 1814, case maker's mark AN

Condition

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of its time keeping and therefore a service should be carried out in the near future at the buyer's expense. The movement is running and striking at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service soon. The dial with some slight scuffs but overall in good condition. There appear to have been some restoration to the enamel, there is a small area of red enamel lacking to the band of the outer case. Both cases with matching hallmarks and case maker's mark.
