The carved onyx box depiciting a seascape, with a carved jade junk and a jade thumbpiece, decorated with a pagoda set with rose-cut diamonds, measuring approximately 3½ by 2 inches, stamped Made in France, with maker's marks for Societe des Alliages des Metaux; circa 1920.
Condition
In good condition. Some wear consistent with age in the form on one hairline crack at the back of the box on the bottom left corner, not visible from the top or front of the box. No further loss noticed. Diamonds are of decorative quality. Jade displays a green, to mottled green and white hue.
