Centering a cushion-cut sapphire weighing approximately 4.20 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette diamonds weighing approximately .20 carat, size 4, signed Cartier, numbered 870364.

Condition

In good condition, with some light wear to the shank. The richly saturated sapphire is a medium-deep blue, lightly included with some very minor chipping and abrading to the facet junctions visible only under magnification. Fitted with sizing spheres so the ring fits more like a 5 1/2 on the finger. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 60006 stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
