The first square-shaped box set with four calibré-cut rubies, gross weight approximately 75 dwts, measuring approximately 3 3/8 by 2 7/8 inches, signed Tiffany & Co.; the second two-color gold box of basketweave design, gross weight approximately 82 dwts, measuring approximately 3 5/8 by 2¼ inches; the third box designed with two-color gold chevron motifs, gross weight approximately 63 dwts, measuring approximately 4 1/8 by 2 inches, signed Hermes, Paris, numbered 54478, with French assay mark and maker's mark for Pierre Brun.

Condition

In fair to good condition. HERMES BOX: In good condition. The woven gold exhibiting two significant dents on the bottom. Indistinctly numbered, probably 8717. WOVEN BOX: In fair condition. The bottom of the case exhibiting moderate denting and gold loss to one of the the corners. TIFFANY BOX: In good condition. Filled with almost a whole pack of Benson and Hedges cigarettes. The gold exhibiting some spots of tarnish and denting, mostly to the bottom. The calibre-cut rubies are medium slightly purplish red, moderately included with some surface-reaching fractures.
