The complete set, comprising one dish and 12 plates, 1948, from the edition of 100, each inscribed 'Pour Catherine et Jean Louis', the dish dated '19.2.1965', each glazed and painted, each with the Madoura stamp, seven with the Edition Picasso stamp
Condition
The ceramics are generally in good condition, the green has oxidized mostly to whitish-grey and is sometimes only faintly visible on the rims of the plates, occasional tiny chips at the rims (apparently touched-in on Plates E and J), the twelve plates have occasional minor surface scratches (visible in a raking light) and varying degrees of mostly minor surface staining on the reverse. Plate C is wrongly inscribed 'D'.
