Overall in very good condition. The favrile glass blown through the bronze reticulations appears original and undisturbed with no visible significant condition issues. The favrile glass with some surface soiling along the perimeter contours, a few light surface abrasions, and one minute surface fleck (1/8 inch). The patinated bronze surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches and rubbing to the patina, and with some minute ink spots on the recessed top rim adjacent to the interior glass inkwell, consistent with age and gentle use. With a few small and minor shallow surface bruises to the bronze just above the base and below the first row of glass inclusions. The top of the hinged cover with a very very minor shallow bruise, just barely perceptible by touch. The underside of the hinged cover with a few small spots of patina loss. With a period clear glass inkwell liner; the interior top rim with a few pinhead size edge flecks. A very fine example of this dynamic inkstand model displaying a richly marbled green and russet brown patina.
