Condition
Overall very good original condition. The patinated surfaces of this work show a rich hue and nuanced coloration to the patination that only heightened the sculptural depth of the work. The top surface of the figures back with some light discolorations from use, as seen in the catalogue illustration. With some minor surface dirt to the recessed portion of the design. The proper left foot of the baboon with some minor oxidation to the recessed areas of the toes. A deeply sculptural work heightened with a wonderfully painterly and nuanced patina when viewed first hand.
