Description
- PORCELAIN
- the plate: 24cm., 9 1/2 in., the tureen: 22.5cm., 8 7/8 in., the gelber Löwe plate: 23.7cm., 9 3/8 in. diam
each piece of lobed form with a shaped gilt-edged rim moulded with the Alt-Brandenstein pattern, painted with panels of birds perched in branches of indianische Blumen, the cover surmounted with a flower finial, the centre of the plate painted with a bouquet of flowers tied with a blue ribbon, the further plate painted with the gelber Löwe pattern of a tiger curling around a shoot of bamboo, the rim painted with scattered indianische Blumen and insects, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, impressed numerals, one tureen handle restored, one plate chipped

Condition
There is a flat shallow chip to the rim of the plate in the gelber Löwe measuring approximately 0.5cm wide.
