Description

  • POTTERY
  • the pair: 32.6cm., 12 7/8 in. high
of tapering scroll form moulded with garlands, shells and acanthus leaves picked out in colours, with glazed pierced sockets for hanging, together with a Dutch Delft polychrome wall light fitted with a single wooden sconce, elaborately formed and painted with a woman peering through a window, some restoration

Condition

The pair: both knops at the bottom of the brackes have been re-stuck, one of the pair also has a re-stuck chip to the top rim, bot have typical chips resulting in some glaze loss. The single wall light has been restored at the top section.
