Catalogue Note

This charming portrait study of a young girl can be compared to other drawings by Crispijn van de Passe the Elder in the Rijksmuseum.  The technique employed in this sheet is very close to Portrait of Count John Louis of Nassau-Hadamar, son of John the Elder and to Portrait of a Young Woman.1
