The vanity case of textured design, with floral motif above the clasp, set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, the interior with removable powder compact and mirror, measuring approximately 70 by 70 by 11mm, gross weight approximately 182 grams, signed Cartier, numbered, the cigarette case of fluted wave design, the thumb piece set with a cabochon sapphire, measuring approximately 88 by 14 by 57mm, gross weight approximately 117 grams.
Condition
The vanity case signed Cartier Paris. Diamonds bright and lively. Very slight tarnish to mirror. Powder compact removable, in good order, some powder remaining. Lid and clasp secure. Scratches and tarnish to metal consistent with age and wear.
The cigarette case with slight scratches to metal consistent with age and wear. Gross weight approximately 117 grams. Lid secure. Sapphire medium blue, good saturation, typical inclusions visible under magnification. In good condition.
