Description

Set with a cushion-shaped ruby, within a double row frame millegrain-set with single-cut and rose diamonds, the shoulders similarly set, size L, one diamond deficient.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US and therefore this piece may not be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 07446, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no evidence of heat treatment. The ruby medium red, good saturation, measuring approximately 8.0 x 7.9 x 3.5 mm, measured in mount, calculated to weigh approximately 2.01 carats, typical inclusions visible to naked eye. Diamonds bright and lively, one stone deficient. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
