Comprised of: a ring centring on a translucent oval jadeite cabochon of emerald green colour, flanked by trilliant-cut diamonds; and pair of matching earrings, each set with an oval jadeite cabochon of matching colour and translucency; and a brooch modelled as an openwork butterfly, centring on a marquise-shaped jadeite cabochon of emerald green colour, embellished by circular-cut diamonds; mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold. Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificates, the jadeite cabochons are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificates for details. In our opinion, all three jadeite cabochons have good translucency, of medium intense to deep emerald green colour. Upon strong illumination, there are some brownish cloud inclusions, more noticeable on the jadeite cabochons on earrings but not seen when worn. Diamonds altogether weighing approximately 0.80 carat, are about G to H colours, VS clarity. Condition: Karat white gold mounts, with signs of wear and sratches to the metal, particularly on the ring shank, otherwise in good condition.
