Gem-Set and Diamond 'Cupid' and 'Vintage Car' Brooches

The first brooch designed as a cupid, pavé-set with circular-cut diamonds and calibré-cut rubies; the second brooch modelled as a vintage car, set with carved onyx, circular-cut diamonds and calibré-cut rubies; the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 1.00 carat, mounted in 18 karat white gold. (2)

Colour and clarity: In our opinion, the diamonds are about E - F colours, VVS to VS clarity. Rubies are of intense red to purplish red colour, with a few that are light red to purplish red colour, lightly included with some surface abrasions. Whimsical design, the wheels on the car can be rotated, and one wing on the cupid is slightly articulated. Condition: Karat gold mount, in very good condition. This lot is offered without reserve. Proceeds from this lot will be donated to Operation Smile.
