注：「莫釐山樵」即上海買辦席錫蕃（1863-1933）在《遊戲報》（1897-1910）上用的筆名。席錫蕃，本名裕康，别字慰根，清同治二年（1863）出生于上海。其父席嘏卿是席元樂的長子，匯豐银行買辦席正甫的哥哥，从19世纪50年代初来上海，先后在多家钱庄及英商麦加利银行（Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China）等任职。光绪五年（1879），因父亲的关系，席锡蕃到麦加利银行工作，并于光绪廿一年（1895年）由麦加利银行的买办韦文圃推荐出任该行买办。席锡蕃交游广泛，后又担任华俄道胜银行、中法工商银行等买办。其編有《頤性室藏唐宋元明清五代名人書畫真跡大全》二十冊，民國二十二年（1933年）由文華美术图书公司出版发行。
