of rectangular form, with two trays stacked above one another, the upper containing an additional fitted shallow tray, below a conforming fitted cover, all set on a base frame flanked by standing ruyi-form spandrels, joined at the top with an arched handle, the cover with corner ruyi-head mounts, the edges all reinforced by metal mounts

Condition

The bottom panel of both trays have later added strips of wood due to shrinkage.
