Description

  • ceramic
of shallow saucer shape resting on a low wedge-shaped foot ring, the interior crisply carved with a chilong curled to form a medallion encircled by floral sprays, one bearing a large peony, the other a lotus, the petals with delicately incised and combed details, the underside plain, all under an ivory glaze, the rim bound in metal

Condition

There is a 1/8 in. firing flaw to the exterior and expected scattered minor iron-specks and burst air bubbles overall. Otherwise, in good condition.
