the bodhisattva identified by the nectar vase in the open work tiara, wearing beaded jewelry and layered robes with chased floral borders, the serene face with downcast eyes and gentle smile, seated in dhyanasana, on a separately cast lotus throne with a tab in the back, raised on a stem rising from the wave-cast hexagonal stand

Condition

There are repairs to the rear leaf of the tiara and the left thumb. There are some nicks along the the length of hair that falls over the left shoulder and a loss to the tip of the little finger of the right hand. There is wear to the gilding and general surface nicks and wear. The lotus throne and the base were originally seperately cast, but are now glued together and are associated. The tab on the back of the lotus intended to hold a mandorla is slightly off-center. There is general surface wear and minor losses to the tips of some petals.
